-
Ilan Ramon Day School is deeply committed to making a Jewish education accessible to as many families as possible. We approach this commitment with respect for each family’s circumstances and with the utmost confidentiality in the tuition assistance process. Thanks to the philanthropic support of our community and donors who have made long-term commitments to affordability, Ilan Ramon is able to provide tuition assistance for our Elementary School (K-5) program.

1. Tuition and Fees
Elementary School tuition for the 2025–26 school year is $26,985.
Additional fees include:
• Class Fee: $500/child
• Facility Fee: $250/child
• Parent Organization Fee: $100/child
• Security Fee: $1,500/family2. Independent Assessment
Ilan Ramon Day School uses FACTS Grant and Aid Management, an independent and nationally recognized tool, to ensure a fair and consistent evaluation of financial need. This tool ensures that our process for establishing need adheres to nationally established standards of best practice.
3. Application Process
Families must apply for tuition assistance online through FACTS. Awards are granted for one year at a time. Families must reapply annually. Awards are based on demonstrated need and submission of updated applications and tax documents.
4. Confidentiality
We treat all information from FACTS, along with every family’s tuition assistance request and award, with the utmost confidentiality. Applications and supporting materials are completed and submitted online via the FACTS Grant and Aid portal.
5. Role of FACTS Grant and Aid Management
FACTS Grant and Aid Management does not decide tuition assistance awards. It provides an objective report recommending what a family may reasonably contribute. A confidential Tuition Assistance Committee reviews the objective report and each application. The Committee evaluates each request, taking into account the family’s other children (ages, schools they attend), additional dependents, all sources of income, priority of spending, debts, and expenses. If the Tuition Assistance Committee requires clarification, the family will be contacted directly.
6. Deadlines
Returning families: Friday, December 12, 2025
New families: Friday, January 30, 2026
Applications received after these deadlines will not be considered for tuition assistance awards.
7. Required Documentation
Families must submit the following documentation online:
2024 Federal and State Tax Return (Form 1040, with all schedules)
2024 W-2s or 1099s
2024 Corporate Return and/or K-1 (if applicable)
Awards will be based on this data and reflected in enrollment contracts.
8. Admissions and Assistance
The tuition assistance application process occurs at the same time as application for admissions. However, the decisions to accept and to award assistance are separate.
9. Returning Families and Prior Year Financial Obligations
All tuition assistance awards are contingent upon payment in full of the prior year’s financial obligations to Ilan Ramon Day School.
10. Divorced/Separated Parents
In the case of divorced or separated parents, both parents (regardless of court ordered custody or support) must submit applications on FACTS Grant and Aid Management and provide all documentation.
Ilan Ramon Day School cannot be bound by the assertion that one parent has disclaimed responsibility for educational expenses. If a custodial parent has remarried, the Tuition Assistance Committee will consider commingled assets.
